James Webster Obituary

MADISON - Mr. James E. "Tom" Webster, 77, of 341 Pine Valley Drive died March 29, 2003, at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Good Will Baptist Church in Madison. Burial will be in the church cemetery. He was a native of Stokes County, a member of Good Will Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon and a retired employee of Pine Hall Brick Co. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Bettie Moore Webster of the home; six sons, the Rev. James A. Webster (Brenda) and John T. Webster (Mary), both of Madison, Billy Webster of Reidsville, the Rev. Joe L. Webster (Diane) of Chapel Hill, Floyd Webster of Burlington and Curtis Webster (Sondra) of High Point; two daughters, Kathy M. Webster and Patsy Scott, both of Madison; two brothers, Dewey Webster and Willie C. Webster, both of Madison; six sisters, Sallie Ruth Lowe, Lillie Searcy, Louise Joyce, Bertie Searcy, Emma Payne and Loretta Dalton, all of Madison; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 this evening in the Mary D. Perry Memorial Chapel at Perry-Spencer Funeral Home in Madison.
