I know we sure do miss James and I can't even imagine how much his family does. What an awesome kid, but knowing he is with Our Lord and Savior and we will see him again one day does make it easier for us. Prayers continued for his family.

I have not stopped thinking about James or your family since the night I first met each of you in the ICU. It makes my heart so, so sad for the loss of your son. I consider anybody that got to know James like I did, lucky. He was an amazing friend. I met him in 3rd grade when I moved to Yadkin County and he was so welcoming. He was one of the most easy to love boys anyone could ever come in contact with. We were cougars and falcons together. My heart goes out to the Williams family, you are all in the prayers of the members at Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church, and many others as well. James, you are in the hands of God and there is no better place to be. I am sure you are up in Heaven with your Grandfathers right now looking down and seeing how much you were loved. If not before now, you can understand how you have touched so many lives. I love you James, and i know we will see each other again someday.

While I knew some of James' extended family, I didn't know him personally. One doesn't have to know him to see what a wonderful person he was...it's evident in reading and hearing everything about him from those that did know James. In this rough time, I think of all the good times me and James spent together at school. He was the only person I had ever met that was always in a good mood and walked around with a smile on his face. He had the personality that could light up the whole classroom's mood. Me and James were friends and I will never forget someone as special as him impacting my life so much. He makes me realize that we have to treasure every single moment we have with someone..
