EAST BEND - Mr. Jeffrey Brian Whittington, 40, passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at his home. He was born November 28, 1981 in Forsyth County to Jeffrey Brian Whittington and Teresa Allen Pfau. Mr. Whittington worked as an commercial electrician for several years and enjoyed being outside either hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles, or cars. He was preceded in death by his father, Jeffrey Brian Whittington October 18, 2011. Surviving are his mother, Teresa Allen Pfau; his sister, April W. Thomas; paternal grandparents, John Bruce and Ina J. Whittington; maternal grandmother, Emma Joyce Allen; his uncles, Keith Whittington, Gregory Whittington; stepmother, Annis Whittington; stepbrother, Michael Porter; stepsister, Kelly Byerly; nieces, Tori Anthony, Brittany Anthony; nephew, Daniel Parkes; and several cousins including Nicholas, William, Stephanie, and Amanda Whittington. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. Sunday at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. His graveside service will follow the visitation at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in Northwood Baptist Church Cemetery by Rev. Tim Webb. Online condolences may be made to www.gentryfuneralservice.com.
