Joann (Jody) Holder Yokley, 82, of Winston-Salem, fell asleep with the Lord on Monday, April 3, 2023. She was born on November 21, 1940 (along with her twin sister Jackie) to Joseph and Nina Holder. Jody graduated from RJ Reynolds High School. She married "Deeter" Goodson and had two children, Kim Goodson Toompas and Andy Goodson. Jody later married Blake Yokley and enjoyed 42 years together. She loved going to her "happy place" with all of her family to Ocean Isle Beach. She was very active at Messiah Moravian Church and loved all of her church friends. Jody enjoyed gardening, crafts, decorating, and cooking. She will be deeply missed by her loved ones and all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Blake Yokley and a grandson, Brandon Blalock.

Jody is survived by her children, Kim Toompas (Jimmie), Andy Goodson (Susan), Kevin Yokley, Blair Yokley-Furchgott (Gene); grandchildren, Ashley Joann Toompas, Jake Toompas, Drew Goodson, Adam Goodson, Owen Yokley and Tate Yokley. Also, her loving sisters, Carolyn Davis, Jackie Stewart (Tommy), Donna Wickstead (John), and Judy Harrold.

The family will visit with friends at Salem Funeral Home, Main Street Chapel, 1 until 2:30 p.m. on Monday, April 10, 2023 with a Graveside Service at 3 p.m. at God's Acre, Salem Moravian Graveyard.
