John Holden, 65, passed away on June 18, 2024, in Pinnacle, NC. Born on August 31, 1958. John dedicated 13 years of his life to serving in the Army, and over 40 years in the dental industry. John is survived by a loving family; wife, Lisa Holden; his daughters, Alyssa Walls and Valeria Holden-Baity (Travis); his sons, Justin and Kyle Holden; stepdaughters, Jennifer Jones (Clay) and Melissa Hawkins (Josh); nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four brothers; two sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews and many special friends and colleagues. His family will always remember him as a dedicated father, husband, and brother, who always put his loved ones first.

A memorial service to honor John's life will be held on Tuesday, July 2, at 1 p.m., at the American Legion in King. The service will include full Military Honors. John's commitment to his country and his family remains an inspiring legacy.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests any donations be made to Mountain Valley Hospice-Pilot Mountain office, 129 Veterans Dr. Pilot Mountain, NC 27041.

Although everything will be very different without you around and we will miss you terribly, I'm glad you fought as hard as you did so we could have one more year with you. Knowing your pain and suffering is gone will help us through this. Don´t worry about mama we will make sure she is ok at all times. That you for all that you did for us.
