Mrs. Julia Ann Joyner McNeely, 74, of Advance, NC, was ultimately healed at 2:22 AM on Friday, March 11, 2022, surrounded by many of her loved ones. Throughout her life, her biggest blessings were her beloved family members. She found much joy in sharing precious moments with her loved ones over one of her favorite home cooked meals, chicken pie, pintos, and cornbread. Julia was the oldest of 8 siblings, so she learned to cook for others all while creating the special memories that she will forever hold. She also enjoyed thrift shopping, making jewelry, and listening to bluegrass music. She even met many of her favorite professional bluegrass performers within her lifetime. Julia was preceded in death by her parents; Richard Rober Joyner and Madelene Potts Joyner, and her brothers; Randy Michael Joyner and Edgar "Eddie" Warn Joyner. She is survived by her daughter; Angela Klatt, sons; Mark Cox and Darryle (Karrina) Lawson, grandchildren; Tyler Lee Cox, and Kennedy Alexis Klatt, brother; Richard Gray (Koleata) Joyner, and sisters; Linda (Steven) Lineberry, Kathy (Mike) Josey, Ima Jean (Gene) Thacker, Deborah (Kendall) Matthews, and many other special nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held for Julia at Middle Cross Baptist Church in Pfafftown, NC, on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at 4:00 PM. Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com
