Keturah LaMae Wright, 17, of 1340 Pleasant St., Winston-Salem, passed on Monday, Jan. 9, 2006, at Duke Hospital in Durham. She was born Oct. 12, 1988, in Winston-Salem to William Lee Wright Sr. and the late Retta LaMae Woods. She was a student at Glenn High School. She was preceded in death by her mother, Retta LaMae Woods; and grandmother Christine Wright. She leaves to cherish her memories father William Lee Wright and wife Nyla Wright; sisters Monquie Jones of Winston-Salem, Donna Wright Green of Atlanta, Ga., Christine Wright of Winston-Salem and Waylon Graham of Winston-Salem; brothers William Lee Wright Jr. of Charlotte, Cedric Lee Graham of Winston-Salem, Shamon Graham of Winston-Salem and Andre Graham of Winston-Salem; aunts Shirley Wright of Winston-Salem, Hope Mumford of Kernersville, Mara Woods of Charlotte and Sabrina Brown of Winston-Salem; uncles Clayton Lowery of Winston-Salem, Bishop Mumford of Virginia and Richard Burns of Winston-Salem; special friends Tasha Wilson, Darren Brown and Evonne; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, in Gilmore Chapel. The family will receive friends from 3 to 3:30 p.m. in the chapel. The funeral cortege will assemble and leave from the residence. Arrangements have been entrusted to and services will be conducted by Gilmore Funeral Home.
