Lemuel George Moses

MOSES KERNERSVILLE - Lemuel George Moses, 81, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2009 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born August 14, 1928 in Gaston Co., to the late William Guy and Arrie Lail Moses. Mr. Moses was a member of Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints. He retired from Pilot Freight after 29 years of employment. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister and a step-son. Surviving are his wife, Audrey Bizzard Moses of the home; daughter, Donna Moses Watson and husband James of Lexington; step-daughter, Patricia Dixon and husband Bill of Matthews; one brother, Earl Moses; one sister, Helen Eakers both of Cherryville; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel, with Bishop Page officiating. Burial will follow in Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints cemetery, in Colfax. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. prior to the service, at the funeral home.
