DANBURY - Letha E. Edwards, 109, born Jan. 5, 1896, died Tuesday, April 5, 2005, at Walnut Cove Healthcare Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ora E., of 49 years. She leaves behind a son, James W., and his family of Mountain Road, wife Laura Crossan, Sterling Nicholson III, Erica Nicholson, Sterling Nicholson IV, Dave Nunn and Taddy Nunn; Sally Bynum of Richmond, Va.; and grandson Lance W. Edwards and his family of Sandy, Utah, Melody, Wesley and Abbey. Burial will be in Evansville, Ind. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice in her memory. The family thanks Dr. H. Colletta (Walnut Cove) for his professionalism and the nurses and staff of Walnut Cove Healthcare for their loving care, kindness and understanding. Burroughs Funeral Home is handling arrangements locally.
