Lucian Neal Obituary

Lucian Henry "Chip" Neal II

Mar 30, 1965 - Jul 27, 2024

Lucian Henry "Chip" Neal II, 59, passed away on July 27, 2024, at Trellis Supportive Care in Winston-Salem. He was born to the late Robie Ware Neal and Lucian Henry Neal, Sr. in Jackson, MS, on March 30, 1965. The Neals moved to Winston-Salem in 1968. Chip graduated from Forsyth Country Day School and St. Andrews Presbyterian College in Laurinburg, NC.

Chip enjoyed his position helping out at Parkway Ford North in Winston-Salem.

At the age of 17, shortly before graduation, Chip was involved in a car wreck that disabled him. His mother lovingly took on the role of his caregiver. Mrs. Neal passed away on August 31, 2024, a month after Chip's passing. Chip is survived by his brother, Ched Neal (Vickie); and nephews, Christopher Neal of Winston-Salem and Dylan Neal of Charlotte, NC.

The family would like to thank Chip's devoted caregivers for their kindness and support.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trellis Supportive Care, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103. Online condolences may be made through www.salemfh.com.

Can´t believe it´s been a year since Chip left us.
I still see his smiling face as he would come to the dining room on his scooter.

My husband and I met Chip while he was at Botangas Gardens at Bermuda Village. He was such a delight to know. He had a beautiful smile and I loved to tease him. He was surely missed when he left Botangas Gardens. My deepest sympathy to the family for his loss and the loss of his mother.
Love,

I miss my buddy every day. I was his caregiver for the last 3 years and what a time we had. He loved being on the go. I had the privilege of taking him to FL the last two summers. He loved it.
Chip was one of a kind, he touched so many peoples hearts and he didn't realize it. He is missed every day. Love and prayers to his family.

My oh my,
Sweet Chip you finally got your wings. Now you can fly high above the sky.
I always loved you and was so grateful to have been able to help you each time you needed the doors open to come into the showroom. Even the bathroom. Your funniest making me laugh. You also had bad days too.
I cant believe your gone. You had accomplished so much, driving and almost believed one day you would be able to get up and walk. Chip you indeed was a specail guy.
So many loved you.
We all had great times at the dealership with you.
You was as a part of family to me.
See you soon as Jesus will be closer to bring us all back together to those we love.
