To The Family of Mark Sizemore
I called WFUBH today to make an appointment for a recheck and was both shocked and deeply saddened to discover that Mark had passed away. I met Mark during an appointment with Dr. Tatter 4 years ago. It was a very difficult time for me but Mark made me laugh and lightened the situation. During my recovery period, he was always compassionate, supportive and yet still humorous. He was a good man. In many of our conversations, he talked about his family and how much he loved them. I particularly remember him talking about the fun times he had eating sushi with his son. He loved you all deeply. May God bless each of you and help you as you live through this most difficult time. You are in my thoughts and in my prayers.

Dear Sizemore Family, We are so sorry for your loss. We just found today that he passed away during my daughter, Faith's appt. with Dr. Tatter. Mark was a touch of sunshine during very intense times. He had tremendous compassion and cared for his patients. I know that Mark is a great guardian angels. So close your eyes, be still and feel him in your heart.

I woke up this morning thinking about Mark. My husband died March 12 and I have barely begun functioning. Mark was my lifeline while Rodney was sick with cancer. He never failed to answer my emails. They never said why Mark wasn't at work those last months but I had a sad feeling. I am so sorry to learn of his death. He spoke so fondly of his family and I am so glad I was able to get to know him. My heart goes out to your family. Ann Irvin - Kingsport, Tennessee

Dear Peggy, Bobby, Mary, and the kids, I met Mark when he was 15 when I came to work at what was then Guardian Care Nursing Home. I'll always remember that funny kid who grew up into such a terrific adult. Mark came to me to ask me for a recommendation for PA school; the career seemed so interesting I enrolled myself and he and I went through PA school together. I learned of this death just a few minutes before his funeral; I rushed over, but they had already closed the sign-in book. The letters from the children were so touching, and hearing Mark spoken of as a loving father was so endearing. Peggy and Bobby and Mary, I can only imagine your pain, as well as that of the children who I never really knew. I pray that Mark is in heaven where he belongs; it is so very hard to understand how his light could be out of our world, but must be shining high above us. Bless you all. Dear Mary and family, I worked with Mark at Rowan Regional Med. Center. As a matter of fact, when Mark left Dr. Baker's office, my husband became one of two PA's at the practice. Mark and my husband were classmates at Bowman Gray. I enjoyed working with Mark very much. My husband and i were terribly saddened to hear of his passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this time.

Dear Sizemore Family
I was very saddened to read of Mark's passing. I worked with him at the Medical Center. He was always such a pleasant, positive, happy person to be around. You knew he cared for his patients as well as his co-workers and all the comments here just reaffirm that with his family and friends. May you find comfort in the memories you share with him and in knowing so many people were touched by his kind spirit. God's comforting touch on all of you for the days ahead - remember Mark will always be with you in spirit

Dear Bobby, Peggy, Bill, Mary, Ashley, Christopher and Nicholas...I have struggled over the past several days as to what to write and say to you all...And I feel like what I say now will still not be enough...Our deepest sympathy to each one of you as his parents, his brother, his wife and his children...I can not fathom what you all have had to endure over the past year...I am sure you are asking why...But I am also sure that with your faith God will get each one of you through this tragedy...We will not be able to attend Mark's service due to being out of town, but you all will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers in the days, weeks and months that lie ahead of you...Love to all, David and Kim Alexander

Mark is my nephew and was a very special person. I don't know too many almost perfect people in this world but he was certainly one of them. He was so proud of his children, wife and family and was such a great person as well. I am so glad that I had some time to speak with him a few weeks ago. It is not easy to loose someone at his age and it is especially hard to loose a parent when you are younger. I am so sorry that you all have to go through this but Mark is in a better place and he made each of you strong enough to get through such times. Prayer and family is all that it takes and you have both to fall back on. Our prayers are with you.
