The Rev. Michael Wayne Linville, 43, of 1515 E. Sedgefield St. went home to be with his heavenly father unexpectedly Sunday, Sept. 14, 2003, at Forsyth Medical Center. He was a native of Forsyth County, born on Aug. 13, 1960, to the late Billy Linville and Antionette Simmons Linville. He was a 1979 graduate of North Forsyth High School and a 1997 graduate of Piedmont Bible College with an associate's degree. The Rev. Linville was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church and later became pastor of Cedar Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Mocksville. He was employed by Kay Chemicals of Greensboro, a part of Rowan Association, and was a member of Kimberly Park Tennis Club. He is survived by his loving wife, Shonia Renee Linville of the home; six children, Michael Bruton, Alisha Fullard, Michelle Fullard and Jasmine, Sherika, and Arnita Linville, all of Winston-Salem; two grandsons, Antwon Rucker and Michael James Linville; his dear mother, Antionette Linville; two brothers, the Rev. James (Renita) Linville and Billy Ray (Daphne) Linville; a sister, Voncile Linville of South Carolina; his mother-in-law, Shirley Fullard of Winston-Salem; two sisters-in-law, Beverly (Michael) Rowe and Alfreda Fullard; two brothers-in-law, Reginald and Charles Fullard, all of Winston-Salem; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 19, at Shiloh Baptist Church, with Dr. Paul Lowe Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Friday at the church. (Russell)
