Norris Cromer Obituary
December 28, 1933 - November 12, 2022
Mr. Norris Baxter Cromer Sr. passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 12 at the home of his son. He was born on December 28, 1933 in Forsyth County, NC. Norris "Cotton" Cromer graduated from Griffith High School and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He worked in the plate glass industry and owned Cromer Glass Company. He had many friends that enjoyed eating at The Diner at Gordan Manor, Dukes, and Little Richards on Country Club Rd. He was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Rachel Snow Cromer; three sisters, Dorothy Styers, Audrey Knouse, and Lenola "Diddy" Rynn. Surviving is one brother, Bill Cromer and wife, Mavareen, sons Norris Baxter Cromer Jr. (wife Karen), Jon Barry Cromer (wife Shawn) and grandson Ryan Cromer. There will be a private burial only. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to your chosen place of worship or charity. Many thanks to Trellis Homecare for their loving care and assistance.

My sincere condolences to Mr. Cromer's family and a special acknowledgement of his loving son, N. Baxter Cromer, Jr. for his dedication to caring for his father in his last years. I am honored to have had the privilege of meeting Norris Sr. just days prior to his passing.
