JONESVILLE - Mr. Paul Edward Hughes, 38, of Bethel Road, Jonesville, passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2006, at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital. Mr. Hughes was born Jan. 20, 1968, in Forsyth County to William Bailey and Geraldine McCormick Hughes Sr. Mr. Hughes was employed by Interface Fabric and was a member of Compass Worship Church, where he was a deacon. He managed Cross Creek Farm and was a chef. Survivors include his wife, Tammy Martin Hughes of the home; three daughters, Kiaria Hughes, Tyraka Caesar and husband James, all of Winston-Salem, and Morgan Burns of the home; a son, Matrix Burns of the home; father and mother William Bailey and Geraldine McCormick Hughes Sr.; three brothers, William Bailey Hughes Jr., Dwayne Hughes and wife Sandra and Larry Hughes and wife Tina, all of Winston-Salem; four sisters, Sylvia Hughes, Renee James and husband Curtis, Sherry Hughes and Michelle Parrott and husband Charles, all of Winston-Salem, three grandchildren, Kobe Caesar, Paris Caesar and Jada Caesar; a special sister, Ashley Foster of Greensboro; a special friend, Katie Hayes of Elkin; nine nieces; four nephews, five aunts; three uncles; and a host of many beloved family and friends. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 29, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, with Minster Maxine Edwards, the Rev. Mike Hall, the Rev. Jeb Hurt, the Rev. Thomas Williams Sr. and the Rev. Alvin Harris officiating. Burial will follow at Crestwood Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour before the service from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 29, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Online condolences may be made at www.hodges-funeral-home-inc-.com.
