Paul Rhoades Obituary

RHOADES WINSTON-SALEM - Paul C. (Cigar), Rhoades, 74, died Wednesday (November 25, 2009) at Forsyth Medical Center. Born in Stokes County, N.C., Mr. Rhoades retired as a machine operator with R.J. Reynolds Company. He was an avid NASCAR fan and a member of the Crestwood Baptist Church. Surviving family includes his wife Carolyn Wooters Rhoades; son Jeff Rhoades; brother and sister in law Arthur L. Sr. and Linda Rhoades; sister and brother in law Mary Ann and Gary Anders. Friends and family will visit on Sunday, (November 29, 2009), from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m., at the Vogler & Sons Funeral Home, A Dignity Memorial Provider, 2951 Reynolda Road, Winston-Salem, NC (336-722-6106). A private funeral service will be held. Interment Crestview Cemetery. The family prefers, if you wish, contributions to Crestwood Baptist Church, 530 Motor Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27105 (336-767-0096) in Memory of Paul C. Rhodes. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Vogler & Sons Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider.
