Big Creek High School at War, WV, class of 1950, has lost one of our own.

She attended junior high school at Coalwood, WV and high school at Big Creek High. Although I have not seen her since graduation, I hold fond memories of our school days together.

Deepest sympathy to her family.

I worked with Peggy many, many years ago (1964-66) at Retail Credit Company in Winston. During that time I gave birth to my daughter and Peggy was almost as excited about my pregnancy as I was. She had children and she had an abundance of helpful hints. She was so very proud of her children and beamed when she talked of them or showed off their pictures.

She was a wonderful person and she left a lasting impression on me. In 1966 I moved out of State and we didn't see a lot of each other after that. Sadly, we didn't have email to keep in touch with friends.

To this day I can vision her face and hear her laugh. She was a lot of fun and we had some great times.

This is indeed a sad time for her family and friends and I know she will be deeply missed.

My sympathy to you all,

Pat Cain

David and Debbie, Your Mom showed the most courage and graciousness through the surgeries and treatments. I could not have admired her more. My love and sympathy to you, David, and Amy & little Jonah; to you, Debbie, Jim and Richard and the other family and friends who will miss her here, but look forward to singing with Peggy someday. Love in Christ, Pat Cain

David, Debbie, Cindy, Linda, and extended family: All of you are in my prayers. It is so hard to rejoice during a time when we are so sad, but it is so awesome to know that your beautiful mom is present with the Lord. Your mom was a wonderful and loving woman of God, and she will be deeply missed by many. Please know that she will be with you always. She will be celebrating life with you, as she looks down from the heavens. She was that second mom to me for many years, and only now will she be able to realize the impact that she had on my life. What a strong individual!! She will be missed!!

To Peggy's wonderful family,

I know this is a tough time filled with mixed emotions. Stand by each other, as you have all lost someone special in your lives. Each hurt will be different, but all feel the loss. It is a true blessing that she was here for Jonah's birth. Know that she is now singing in Heaven's choir, with Jesus as her music minister.

Blowing you kisses,

Francie & Michael Yokeley
