I met John about fifteen yrs ago out at his home on Polo Rd. I was doing construction with a backhoe when he came out to the street and asked if I would load some concrete into his truck, it was to heavy so I drove it to his property in belews crk. in my dump truck and he then gave me permission to hunt his land and in turn I have helped him take care of the land even when he didn't ask. He used to come out their in the afternoon just as I was ready to leave and we would talk for hrs. He was an amazing man with amazing stories that you never got tired of hearing. He will be missed by me and my family. We will see you later, John.Semper fidelis!!! The Sosack Family 336-922-4264

After Cozette died, John continued to faithfully come to the Stacy Reunion at Mt Pisgah Methodist Church in Rutherford County. He often led the blessing. We missed him after the reunion moved to Charlotte 2 years ago. I remember that he always wore a tie that had the American flag on it. He was very proud of being a Pearl Harbor vet. I too am a Stacy in-law, so I was impressed that he continued to keep contact with his widow's family tree.

Mr. Fulton was a regular at the Stacy annual reunion in Western North Carolina. He was a celebrated veteran of WWII having survived duty at Pear Harbor, Hawaii. He attended the reunion for his deceaced wife, Cozette Stacy Fulton. Jovial and intelligent, he will be missed by the Stacy's large family. God bless you old soldier. March home to God's Kingdom.

John was a very special man. I worked with John at the Register's of Deeds Office from 1978 through 1983. My name at the time was Sherry Lewis. He was always so helpful. Throughout the years we have exchanged cards and I will always remember his great sense of humor. He will be thoroughly missed. May God Bless his family.
