Young Bob Quist is what we called him. He had a smile that lit up the poker table and a laugh that filled the room. We had a poker group every Sunday or Monday night (I can't remember. It's been so long) that used to meet at his house to play when I was in medical school at Wake Forest University. Tunes, Scotty J, Philip and Bob Humphries. So sorry to hear that he has passed. Still consider him a friend even though it's been 30 years since I've seen him.

I am so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. The days at RJR and Lees-McRae,camping trips, and his helping me with recent graphic art work all remind me of what a genuine,funny,talented and proud father he was.He will be greatly missed but never forgotten. My deepest condolences to you all.

Though it has been a long while since I saw Bob, I remember him as a gregarious, smiling and happy young man with a great sense of humor

Debbie and Carla - my heart goes out to both of you. It is heartrendingly sad for you all and I do hope and pray that you are surrounded by family and friends to help you through this difficult time. Words cannot describe how much it saddens me to hear of Bob passing. My heart goes out to all of you and the entire family. He was smart, funny, talented and so much more. Will always remember his drawings of Vikings and the laughs we had.
