Ronald Lawson Obituary
March 9, 1942 - January 22, 2022
Ronald "Ron" Wayne Lawson, 79, of Pine Hall, NC passed away early Saturday morning, January 22nd, 2022. There will be no funeral service at his request. A Memorial Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 26th from 1:00pm to 4:00pm at the Lawson home, 1246 Ridge Road, Pine Hall.
Ron was born March 9th, 1942 in Rockingham County, NC to the late Jacob David Lawson and Daisy Craig Lawson. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church and worked for 35 years at R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company as a bookkeeper/buyer. He was also an avid golfer and played regularly at Riverview and Hemlock golf courses.
Surviving are his loving wife of 59 years, Elizabeth "Lib" Lawson of the home, son Chris Lawson (Kathy) of Pfafftown, NC, daughter Paige Lawson Lynch (Neil) of Surfside, SC, sister Barbara Marks of Walnut Cove, NC, and grandson Bryan Sanders of Lexington, NC. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his grandson, Evan Garner.
Memorials can be made to Grace Baptist Church, 3097 US Hwy 311, Madison, NC 27025. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the following: Hospice of Rockingham County, Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home of Winson-Salem, and a special neighbor, Ken Throckmorton.

Sorry for the loss of Ron. He was a regular with the Monday and Wednesday Senior group at Hemlock for the last few years. A good guy.RIP
