Please accept my deepest sympathy on the loss of your husband & father. I remember with fondness the Saturday afternoon visits to your home and spending time with Laurel and her brothers. May the peace of God be with you during this time. Sincerely, Annette Honeycutt Clay, New Bern, NC

We are so blessed to have known Gorrell. He was a fine example of a man that loved his God and family with all his heart. What a loss for us all. Many prayers will be lifted for Millie and the family. It's not goodbye Gorrell its see you in heaven. We love you, Marty and Tamara Brown

I'm so glad we were all united at the family chicken stew in October and I was blessed to be sitting with Uncle Gorrell and Aunt Millie. Uncle Gorrell was a wonderful man; well respected, loving and oh so steady. I will missing him sorely.

Uncle Gorrell has always been a steadying force in our family. He was always cool headed and had an attitude that almost anything can be accomplished if one works at it long enough. He did accomplish many things in his life, but, in my opinion, his greatest accomplishment, was marrying Millie; What a fantastic couple. I was truly blessed to have Gorrell and Millie as my Aunt and Uncle. I love you both.
