Mr. Spencer O. Boles Jr., 64, of 4986 Chrisfield Lane, Winston-Salem, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2004, at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born in Forsyth County to the late Spencer O. Boles Sr. and Nellie Boyer Boles. Mr. Boles retired in 1986 from R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. He was the No. 12 factory manager of the midnight shift. He was a member of Peace Haven Baptist Church in Yadkinville. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, William "Billy" Boles. Surviving are his wife of the home, Carol Tesh Boles; two sons, Spencer "Butch" (Mary) Boles III of Yadkinville and Tony (Shannon) Boles of King; two sisters, Jane (Dorsey) Stimson of Lewisville and Janet (Bob) Miller of Durham; a brother, Richard (Glenda) Boles of Pfafftown; four grandchildren, Lindsay Boles, Hayden Boles, Meredith Boles and Sarah Boles; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from noon to 6 p.m. today, Sept. 24, at the home of Butch and Mary Boles, 1212 Emerald Drive, Yadkinville, and from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 25, at Gentry Family Funeral Service of Yadkinville. His funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, at Gentry Family Chapel by the Rev. Kenny Gooden. Burial will follow in Westlawn Gardens of Memory.

The world lost a good person when Spencer when on to be with the LORD HE LOVED SO MUCH AND WOULD WITNESS FOR every chance he got.
