Timothy Darrell Hicks, 57, died early Tuesday morning August 31, 2021 at Moses Cone Hospital.
Tim was born in Rockingham County on March 16, 1964 to the late Joe Garell and Virginia Castine Ore Hicks. He was employed by Pine Hall Brick and attended Shining Light Baptist Church. Tim loved farming and working with animals.
In addition to his parents, Tim was preceded in death by his brother, Garrell "David" Hicks.
He is survived by a sister-in-law, Gaynell Hicks; nephew, Jerry Wayne Hicks and wife Wendy; great nephew and niece, Cody and Cheyanne Hicks, and caregiver, James Dickerson.
There will be an 11:00 am Graveside Service held on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Pine Hall Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Pastor Randy Cook officiating.
The family will greet friends following the Graveside Service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to, the National Kidney Foundation, 933 Louise Ave 10113, Charlotte, NC 28204.
