June 19, 1959 - June 20, 2024
Timothy James Love, 65, of Kernersville, NC, went home to Jesus on June 20, 2024, surrounded by the family he loved. Born June 19, 1959, in Concord, NC, to the late Lily Virginia Love and Luther James Love, he was preceded in death by his brother David Michael Love. Tim's journey was marked by a symphony of love and laughter.
Tim graduated from Central Cabarrus High School in 1977, was the first in the family to graduate college at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 1981 and riffed through a career at Hanesbrands from 1984 until 2008. But it was his duet, Love That Music!, which stole the show in Kernersville from 2006 until the beat of 2024. He strummed chords in the community's hearts, making music more accessible for all it was his life's opus and passion.
Tim orchestrated his greatest hits with Sandi, his wife; sons Nathan (wife Alexandra) and Matthew (wife Jennifer), his backup singers; and grandchildren Jude, Tyler, and Lily, who added crescendos to his melody. His love for the arts was legendary, a maestro of melodies and a connoisseur of creativity.
Join the family at Folly's in Kernersville on Sunday, July 7 at 2 p.m., to celebrate Tim's encore performance. Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Services of Kernersville, NC, is orchestrating this grand finale.
Timothy's legacy strikes a chord in the hearts of all who knew him, a testament to his family, his music, and his soulful spirit. His encore will echo through our lives, a timeless refrain of love and harmony. Though he's taken his final bow, his melody will play on forever.

I am so sorry for your loss. I had no idea that he took his final bow. The obituary was beautiful. I only knew Mr. Love through the sale of my son´s trumpet. He was so generous and caring for the Instruments that I brought to him to see if he could sell. I pray that God will bring you comfort and peace and assurance that you will see him again one day.
