STREATER HIGH POINT Toshenda Quonet Streater July 3, 1981 - August 4, 2012 Ms. Toshenda Q. Streater, 31, was called home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 4, 2012. She was born on July 3, 1981 to Barbara Ann Dow and James Thomas Streater in High Point, NC. Toshenda graduated with honors from T. Wingate Andrews High School in 1999. She was also an honor student at Winston Salem State University graduating Cum-laude in 2003. She was employed by the Food Lion Corporation for over 11 years where she was best known for her beautiful smile and loud hello. She leaves to cherish her memories, one daughter, AaMareé Shaw and her father Kenny Shaw, both of High Point, NC; her mother and step-father Barbara & Wilbert Dow of High Point, NC; father and step-mother James and Arnita Streater of Winston Salem, NC; two brothers, Anthony (Penny) Wilson and Donnie Streater both of High Point, NC; three sisters, Tenita Lynette Welch, Shanda Allen both of High Point NC and Kimberly (Ronald) Fields of Winston Salem, NC; five step-sisters and one step brother; one special niece, De'Osha Welch of High Point, NC; two special nephews Marquez Welch and Donthan Streater both of High Point, NC; two aunts, three uncles, and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends. A homegoing celebration will be held at Greater First United Baptist Church, 1409 Deep River Road on Friday, August 10, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Carolina Biblical Gardens, Jamestown, NC. Final arrangements are entrusted to Phillips Funeral Service, Inc. High Point, NC.
