Elder Victor Clark, 49, of 5169 Sunrise Terrace, was called home Thursday, July 10, 2003, at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born May 26, 1954, in Winston-Salem to the Rev. Emory and Lillie Clark Jr. He was a graduate of North Forsyth High School, class of 1972, and attended High Point University, Piedmont Bible College and R.G. Frazier Memorial School of Religion. Elder Clark served faithfully as associate minister of Second New Bethel Baptist Church for three years and as pastor of Pleasant Union Progressive Primitive Baptist Church for 23 years. He was employed by B.E. Aerospace for 29 years and at his departure held the position of Quality Manager of Seating Aftermarket Operations and Components Operations. He leaves to cherish his memories his loving, devoted wife, Cynthia D. Clark; three sons, Victor Jr. (Tamisha), Antoine and Brandon; his cherished grandson, Victor III, "Tres"; his parents, the Rev. Emory Clark Jr. and Mrs. Lillie Clark; his in-laws, Mr. A.J. "Drukie" Brown and Mrs. Sarah Brown; three sisters, Cynthia (Dwight) Hall, Cynora (Charles) Lilly and Sharon Clark; and a brother, Emory Clark III. He is also survived by three sisters-in-law, Angela Brown, Tonja Floyd and Cassandra (Derrick) Floyd; as well as nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from noon to 1 p.m. today, July 15. The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. today at St. John CME Church, 650 NW Crawford Place, with Pastor Bobby R. Best and Dr. James F. Linville officiating. Interment will be at Piedmont Memorial Gardens. The family may be contacted at 5169 Sunrise Terrace. (Russell)
