I was very sorry to read of Bill's passing. He lived two doors up from me on Peachtree Street and we had some good times playing ball and riding bikes on the school grounds at Forest Park. I hadn't seen Bill in a long, long time, but I still remember him as a fun-loving kid, who's heart seemed to be in the right place.

I will always fondly remeber the great times we had many years ago. But most of all when I think of Bill and Shirley, my thoughts are of what great parents they were to those kids. They always were putting their thoughts and efforts into doing a good job as parents. Though it has been quite a few years since I last saw Bill, I will always smile when I think of him; and my thoughts and prayers go out to Shirley and the rest of the family during this dificult time.

We are so sorry to hear about Bill.
We know that right now things seem to be hard to understand, but they will get better in time. We always loved his laughter and his will to do what was right for his family. We will miss his enthusiasm about the races and the Redskins. We love you and the kids. Should you ever need anything please let us know and we will be right there. Signed with lots of love.

It is with great regret to hear about the passing of Bill. I think back about all the great times we shared on Sunday mornings on the golf course with Hassel, my brother Randy and sometimes others. All those Friday nights playing poker with him and Shirley at their Woods apartment as well as all those water volleyball games and super bowl parties. Bill and Shirley were great people to know. Bill will be missed. Shirley you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. And although Angela and I are out of town this week, we are thinking of you always. We will be in touch when we return home.
