William N. "Bill" Renegar

RENEGAR WINSTON-SALEM ~ William "Bill" N. Renegar Dec. 5, 1921 ~ Dec. 2, 2011 Mr. William (Bill) N. Renegar, beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home on December 2, 2011. Mr. Renegar served his country during World War II and retired from Western Electric Company. After retirement, Mr. Renegar enjoyed many happy hours fishing with friends and relatives on the coast of North Carolina. Mr. Renegar was born in Forsyth County, December 5, 1921 to the late William N. Renegar, Sr. and Lela Hutchins Renegar. He was preceded in death by four sisters and is survived by his wife of 69 years, Mary Charles Renegar, daughter Sheila A. Sawyer and husband Mack of Winston-Salem, grandchildren Michael Sawyer of Seattle, Washington, Jeffrey Sawyer of Studio City, California and one sister, Hazel Newsom of Winston-Salem. No Formal Services will be held but friends may visit the home at any time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care Center, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, N.C. 27103. J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home in Wallburg is assisting Mr. Renegar's family. The family wishes to give special thanks to Gentiva Health Care, Hospice Care Center and Elder E. W.
