Casimir "Casey" Zarczynski
April 6, 1946 - Nov. 17, 2023
BEAVER DAM - Casimir "Casey" Zarczynski, age 77, of Beaver Dam, passed away on Friday, November 17, 2023, at Madison Veterans Hospital. Casey was born April 6, 1946, to Eryk and Agnes in Germany.
He was united in marriage to Della Degeler on June 12, 1971. He came to the United States in 1949 and became a US Citizen in 1973.
Casey spent three years serving our country as a US Marine, from 1966 to 1969.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, sports, his children and grandchildren, beloved dog, Bucky, and being around his friends.
Casey is survived by his wife of 52 1/2 years, Della; his children: Brenda Mueller (Tony Arvold), Robert (Melissa) Zarczynski, Jessica (Brian) Schuster, and Daniel (Jennifer) Zarczynski; nine grandchildren: Devan, Coltin, Casey, Riley, Kadyn, Camden, McKenna, Zyler, and Zander; brothers: Bing (Geraldine) Zarczynski, Dizzy (Nancy) Zarczynski, and Joseph Zarczynski; sisters: Teresa (Larry) Siegle, Irene (Tom) Holcombe, and Barbara (Bill) McConnell; sister-in-law, Rosie (Larry) Gradl; and brother-in-law, Dale (Deb) Degeler. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Dana; in-laws, Alfred and Ruth Ceshker; brother, John; sisters-in-law; and brothers-in-law.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at the American Legion in Horicon located at 735 South Hubbard Street, from 12:00 to 4:00 PM.
The family extends a special thank you to the staff at the VA in Madison, WI, for the exceptional care Casey and his family received.
