Dale Michael Manternach

1957 - 2024

Dale Michael Manternach (aka "Hollywood"), 66, of Loveland, Colorado, passed away on February 15, 2024 from natural causes.

Dale was born on September 18, 1957, to Tom and Ceil Manternach in Dubuque, Iowa. After Dale graduated from Wahlert High School in 1975, Dale continued to work for the family business - first with Terrace Heights in Dubuque and then Terrace Homes in Friendship, Wisconsin. He later moved on to work for several different employers, eventually ending up in Loveland, Colorado where he spent the last years of his life.

Dale was known for his unwavering work ethic and put in his fair share of grueling days of physical labor. He was a unique character with a loud presence and a love for Harley Davidson. And while he had a formidable exterior, those close to him knew of his kind heart and his quick willingness to lend a hand to both friends and strangers.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Ceil Manternach. He is survived by brothers Wayne (and Jill) Manternach, Lake Delton, Wisconsin; Galen Manternach (Nekoosa, Wisconsin); and Craig (and Cindy) Manternach of Peyton, Colorado in addition to his sister, Mary Ann (and Ed) Petsche of Cedar Rapids, Iowa along with many nieces and nephews.

Certain factors made it impossible to be there for Dale in his final hours but his legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched with his hard work and kindness. Though he may have seemed tough on the outside, his generous spirit will never be forgotten.

While there is no planned service, the family requests that you take a moment, preferably while riding on a motorcycle, if possible, to remember and pray for Dale.
