Daniel Lapp Obituary

Daniel J. Lapp

July 2, 1960 - January 26, 2025

Daniel J. Lapp, a long-time resident of Lyndon Station, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus, on January 26, 2025. He was surrounded by his loving family, following a short illness. Dan dedicated his life to serving the Lord, Jesus. Spending time fellowshipping with his church family was very important to him.

Dan was a caring and loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, cousin, brother-in-law and friend to many who will miss seeing his bright and cheerful smile. Dan was a hard worker and enjoyed helping others-especially spending time at church camp doing various projects. In Dan's leisure time, he enjoyed working in the yard, making sure that everything looked nice. Spending time with family and friends brought him great joy. He will be missed by his little dog, Willow, who will be lost without her sidekick.

Dan is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Melisa; his son, Chris (Rachel) Lapp; daughter, Holly Knox; grandchildren, Kaitlynn, Bailey, Nicholas, Owen and Joseph; and his great-granddaughter, Kinsley.

Dan was born on July 2, 1960. He was preceded in death by his parents, in-laws and siblings.

A visitation will be held for Dan on Saturday, February 1, 2025, from 9 a.m. until 12 noon at the Church of God, 1225 N Dewey Avenue, Reedsburg. Pastor Debra Sammons will officiate. A celebration of Dan's life will begin at 12 noon with a luncheon to follow. A private family burial will take place in the Gratiot Methodist Cemetery, Gratiot, Lafayette County, Wis. at a later date.

The Farber Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
