Donna Faye Krayer

NORTH FREEDOM - Donna Faye Krayer, nee Meyer, age 92, of North Freedom, passed away on Easter Sunday, March 31, 2024 at the Sauk County Healthcare Center.
Donna was born the daughter of Edward and Theresa (Repka) Meyer on December 5, 1931 in North Freedom Township. She graduated from Reedsburg Area High School, Class of 1950.
She worked at Wisconsin Dairies, retiring after 20 years. In her retirement she continued to work at the Baraboo Wal-Mart, and retired again on her 85th birthday.
Donna enjoyed traveling, playing games, especially Farkle, and loved spending time with her family. She also enjoyed the outdoors, tending to her flower gardens, and watching deer and other wildlife through her patio door. She was a longtime member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in North Freedom.
She is survived by her children: Gary (Jo Foresythe) Krayer, Kathy (Dan) Hoffman, Shane Krayer; her four grandchildren: Ryan (Lisa) Krayer, Tara (Andy) Olson, Niki (Bryan) Frazier, Joshua (Angie) Krayer; nine great-grandchildren: Kyle, Dylan, Kayla (Jacob), T.J., Malachi, Venna (Carter), Kylie, Trystan, Kelsey; and one great-great-granddaughter, Kara. She is further survived by her sister-in-law, Gloria Meyer; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters: Marjorie (Robert) Wiggen, Gloria (Donald) Ripley, twin sister, Lonna Mae Kaney, an infant sister, as well as her brothers: Edward Meyer and Robert (Bev) Meyer.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in North Freedom with Pastor Timothy Blauert officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors at the Reedsburg Area Medical Center and the Sauk County Healthcare Center for the love and care shown to Donna and her family.
