I am so sorry for your Dads passing. I didn´t find out til now about his passing. I wanted so much to come and pay my respects to your Dad Laurie not just because he had came to both of my parents funerals but because he was such a kind man. I know your parents and mine both attended the same church but he still came and when I thanked him he said he felt like we were still part of his family for so long! I thought that was so awesome. So now like my parents and your parents are both, just like the song "Together Again"!!!!!!

Kathy, Dan, Joe &Lori, My sincere sympathies in this time of loss. I so wished I could be with you to pray with you and celebrate, the life of such a wonderful, loving, and faithful Dad. I truly enjoyed every brief little visit with Jim. I can still hear his joy filled chuckle. He was always full of love and joy. When telling a story, he would bring with excitement and laughter before the ending as he bubbles up with his warm smile. Over the mire recent years, it was so great to see him and my mother, attend church together at St Pete's every Sunday and then scamper out the door quickly, to go for breakfast
At Walkers. In his later years, I was fortunate to be able to visit him with my mother up at the lake home. It was such a treat and joy to Just sit and listen to him and my mother reminisce of days past. I'm so blessed to have the great memories of the many picnics with Jim and your family. Truly a wonderful loving dad and man of God. We were all blessed with his presence in our lives. My prayers today for each of you during this time of loss . My prayers also for the gift of his life and the blessings he brought to each of us. Jim truly made the world a little brighter. God Bless!

I knew Jim from St. Katharine Drexel's and we would talk on the phone several times a year, discussing Church items and School issues (I'm on the BD School Board). We enjoyed exchanging views and ideas. I had just signed a Birthday card that I was going to mail him. My son, Eric, and Jim shared Oct 25th as a birthday. He always had a smile. I will miss him. Rest in Peace, Jim!
