THERESA - Janet Mae Magyar, age 90, of Theresa, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at Avina of Mayville (formerly Crossroads Care Center).
A Funeral Service for Janet will be held on Monday, November 10, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Daniel Seehafer officiating. A visitation for Janet will be held at the funeral home in Mayville on Monday, November 10, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow the service at Kekoskee Cemetery in Kekoskee.
Janet was born on June 25, 1935, to Walter and Dorathey (Haferman) Musack. Janet was united in marriage to George A. Magyar on September 5, 1955, at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church in Mayville. She was a faithful member of St. Stephen's Ev. Lutheran Church in Horicon.
Janet worked for many years at Chrysler in Hartford. She was a talented seamstress and was also fond of embroidering. Janet's favorite hobbies included reading, fishing, cards, bowling, and watching movies.
Janet is survived by her children: Cindy Albert, Dale Magyar, and Bruce Magyar; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and her sister-in-law Donna Magyar. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.
Janet was preceded in death by her husband George; her sons Rick Magyar and Keith Magyar; and her sister Lorna Beer.
