Lynn Zimmerman Obituary
October 31, 1947 - April 21, 2025
Lynn R. Zimmerman, 77 of Reeseville, passed away on Monday, April 21, 2025.
Lynn was born on October 31, 1947, in Watertown, the son of Lloyd and Evelyn (Duckert) Zimmerman. He attended and graduated from Lake Mills High School. In 1974, Lynn married the love of his life, Linda Jine, at the Moravian Church in Lake Mills and the couple shared almost 50 years of marriage until her passing in 2023. After settling in Reeseville, the couple owned and operated a dairy farm together. Lynn also assisted Linda in her Avon business, and they won numerous trips through their sales to places including Las Vegas, Branson, Hawaii and even the Bahamas. After Linda passed, Lynn continued her business with pride and became the local 'Avon Man'. Lynn was a hard-working man and dedicated his life to farming and caring for his family. Lynn could fix almost anything, and wasn't afraid to tear things apart. He was known to be a storyteller and his unique sense of humor often earned him chuckles from his friends and family. In his free time, he enjoyed trips to Las Vegas and spending time with family.
Lynn is survived by his son, Jeremy (Kim) Zimmerman; granddaughter, Rhea; sisters, Irene Bauriedel, Beverly Mabie; sister-in-law, Amy Zimmerman; and beloved cat, Moo. Lynn is also survived by a number of other relatives and friends.
Lynn is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Linda; son, Justin Zimmerman; siblings, Lyle Zimmerman and Betty (Art) Nickel; in-laws Marvin Bauriedel and Donovan Mabie; and other relatives.
A Funeral Service will be held at 12 p.m., on Thursday May 1, 2025, at Pederson-Nowatka Funeral Home of Watertown, with Rev. Ray Bezanson presiding. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m., until the time of service at the funeral home. Lynn will be laid to rest at Mamre Moravian Cemetery following the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Lynn's name to the Wounded Warrior Project, local American Legion Post or a charity of one's choice would be appreciated by the family.
