Sharon Lee McClearn

Sharon Lee McClearn, age 80, of Baraboo, passed away on Saturday, April 19, 2025. Sharon, daughter of Lee and Maebelle (Rediske) Demere Sr., was born January 22, 1945 in Milwaukee. She was a graduate of Delavan-Darien High School. On May 16, 1974 she was united in marriage to Donald McClearn in Chicago, Ill.

Sharon was an avid knitter, donating many blankets to local hospitals and nursing homes over the years. She loved spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids.

She is survived by her daughter, Jackie (John) Hogan; daughter, Donna McClearn; son, Joe (Michelle) McClearn; daughter, Kelly McClearn; eight grandchildren, Steffanie (Derek) Slotty, Tylor (Lauren) Newby, Blake Hogan, Kristin (Jake) Annen, Jessica Hogan, Kyle Pickarts, Justin Mitchell, and Ryan Mitchell; nine great-grandchildren; one sister, Martha (Frank) Marzahl; two sisters-in-law, Joyce Demere and Sandy Waligora; numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Jesse Demere Sr., and Maebelle and John Waligora Sr.; her husband, Donald; two sisters, Barb Chambers and Susan (Ray) Ellis; three brothers, Lee Demere Jr., John (Pat) Waligora Jr. and Lyle Waligora; one niece, Stacy Warn; and two great-nieces, Melinda Hudson and Kiana Kanmore.

Per her wishes, a private family gathering will be held at a later date. The Redlin-Ertz Funeral Home is assisting the family.
