Tom's wife, Margaret; children, Jill (Trevor), Jeffrey (April); grandchildren, Aidan, Grace, Ella, Isabelle, Claire, Caroline, Madeline will keep Tom, Dad, Grandpa forever in their hearts.
A celebration of Tom's life will be held at a later date to be announced.

Margaret, I just heard of Tom's passing. What a loss for you and your family, but indeed for his friends, especially us who were blessed to be his Football teammates at Cornell and his fraternity brothers at Psi U. I will never forget this gentle giant who was such an encouragement to me at Cornell and later in the resort industry that he led. I know Tom is resting in peace. God bless you and your family.

I grew up around the corner from Tom, in Rochester, NY. Although Tom was 4 years older than me, he always had time for me. He became an older brother and father figure to me. Growing up, he became an idol and hero to me. So sad to just hear this terrible news. He was the greatest person I ever met. Rest in peace my dear friend.

They touched and influenced my life personally and Tom provided advice and direction that impacted my life. Thank you for being a part of my past and as an experience I will alway treasure. Margaret, Jill and Jeff. Tom was one of the people I loved and admired for my entire adult life. He was my friend.
My deepest condolences to you all. You´re in my thoughts and prayers.
Time will hopefully lessen the pain of your loss but not the glowing memories of your husband and father. Diehler was a man among men. He´ll be missed by everyone who knew him.
