Lorraine Allworden Obituary

Lorraine A. Allworden, 75, of Nekoosa, passed away at home in peace, surrounded by her family on Nov. 4, 2011.

Lorraine's remains will be cremated with a private family ceremony to be held at a later date.

Lorraine was born on June 28, 1936, to the late Edward and Elsie (King) Obermeier. She married Henry Allworden on Nov. 27, 1954 in Rantoul, Ill.; they were married for 57 years.

Survivors include her husband, Henry of Nekoosa; three children, Henry (Gay) Allworden Jr. of Roseville, Minn., Karl (Susan) Allworden of Nekoosa and Phyllis (Kevin) Stensberg of Nekoosa; two grandchildren, Jeremy Stensberg of Elcho and Chelsea Allworden of Woodbury, Minn.; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and three brothers.

Feldner/Ritchay Funeral Home, Nekoosa, is assisting the family

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials may be designated to Ministry Home Care Hospice.
