Marcia Fleming Obituary
Marcia N. Fleming, age 91, of 1400 River Run Drive, Wisconsin Rapids, WI died Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at Riverview Hospital, Wisconsin Rapids, WI.
Funeral Services are 2:00 PM Friday, December 7, 2012 at Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. Shirley Carpenter will officiate. Burial in Restlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at Ritchay Funeral Home on Friday from 12:30 PM until the time of services.
Marcia was born May 25, 1921 in Janesville, WI to Allen and Katherine (Hofstader) Nelson. She married Dr. Paul Fleming on May 23, 1942 in Miami, FL. He died March 13, 1997. Marcia was a homemaker. She was a member of the Eastern Star, the Rebecca Lodge and was active in numerous community activities throughout her life.
Marcia is survived by three children, Paula Baeurle of Germantown, WI, JoAnn Fleming of Ironwood, MI and Kurt (Debbie) Fleming of Arpin, WI; four grandchildren, Charles, Richard (Vicki), Jason and Leeann; two step grandchildren, Melissa and Kimberly and four great grandchildren, Matthew, Alycia, Tyler and Caitlyn.
Marcia was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Paul.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be designated to the Opportunity and Development Center (ODC), the Wisconsin Optometric Association or to the South Wood County Historical Society.

To Paula, Jo, and Kurt.
A week ago I had thoughts of Marcia wondering how she was doing. You were very fortunate to have such a wonderful Mother. Marcia moves on to be with her Lord, Paul, and Jet. You are left with wonderful memories and gratitude. You were blessed to have all those years with her.

Hello Paula. You probably don't remember me (Sue Heath) but we went to Choice together years ago. You have my sympathy with the passing of your Mother. She was such a beautiful woman in many ways. May your faith, family and friends help you through the difficult days ahead. My Mom was 94 when she passed and I still miss her very much. God be with all of you.
