Marita G. Krause, age 95, of 1500 Pepper Avenue, Wisconsin Rapids, Wi died Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at Ministry St. Joseph Hospital, Marshfield, WI.

Funeral Services are 11:00 AM Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church (St. Mary's), Wisconsin Rapids, WI. Rev. Sahayanathan Nathan will officiate. Visitation will be at Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids, WI from 4:00-7:00 PM Friday and Saturday at the Church from 10:00-11:00 AM. There will be a Rosary Service at 6:45 PM Friday at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Forest Hill Mausoleum. Online condolences can be sent to ritchayfuneralhome.com.

Marita was born November 12, 1919 in Pittsville, WI to Benedict and Susan (Thielen) Tritz. She married Joseph R. Krause on June 26, 1946 in Pittsville, WI. He died January 12, 2004. Marita was a homemaker and was an active member of Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church.

Marita is survived by three children, Robert (Sandra) Krause of Wausau, WI, Jerome Krause of Weston, WI and Sharon Hansen of Cottage Grove, MN; eight grandchildren, Tim (Nicole) Krause, Paul (Elena) Krause, Michael Krause, Tammy (Joel) Nelson, Eric (Janelle) Krause, Joel (Ginika Simmons) Krause, Kerri Hansen and Kim Hansen; ten great grandchildren, Ellie, Ryan, Alex, Jake, Olivia, Nora, Evie, Lewis, Denver and Dawson.

Marita is also survived by six brothers, Cyril Tritz of West Allis, WI, Ben Tritz Jr. of Pittsville, WI, Don (Virginia) Tritz of Arpin, WI, Harold Tritz of Cockeysville, Maryland, Ralph (Carrie) Tritz of Pittsville, WI and Lee (Judy) Tritz of Wisconsin Rapids, WI; three sisters, Delphine (Edward) Kaiser of Appleton, WI, Sister Mary Hope Tritz of Elm Grove, WI and Sue (Jerome) Wirtz of Wisconsin Rapids, WI and four sisters in law, Loretta Tritz of Marshfield, WI, Kathy Tritz of East Troy, WI, Sandy Tritz of Missoula, Montana and Leona Krause of Noblesville, Indiana.

Marita was preceded in death by her husband Joseph; three brothers, Norman Tritz, Marvin Tritz and Kenneth Tritz; infant twin sisters, Magdeline and Gertrude; daughter in law, Jackie Krause and son in law, John Hansen.

Memorials can be designated to Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church or to Assumption Catholic Schools.
