Michael Fockler Obituary

Michael was born December 27, 1939 in Milwaukee to John and Esther (Page) Fockler. He married Margie Kramer on October 3, 1974 in Winona, MN. Michael was employed as a department manager for K-Mart for more than 20 years in southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois. Following his retirement he was a school bus driver in Lake Geneva and then Nekoosa/Kellner. His interests included fishing, gardening, woodworking and chess. He was a sports fan who closely followed the Packers, Brewers, Badgers and NASCAR. He also enjoyed time spent with his dogs, Belle and Sammy.
He is survived by his wife Margie of 38 years; his four children Bunnell (Cathy) Fockler, Nannette LaViolette, Heidi (Heath) Kennedy and Bart Fockler; two brothers John and David Fockler; and four sisters Merry (Gary) Shoemaker, Melissa Page, Hopeful and Amy Fockler.
He was preceded in death by his parents and son Douglas.
