Charles "Chuck" William Pittman, 81, surrounded by family, went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 in Conroe, Tx. Chuck was born on June 28, 1931 in Crescent City, California to Charles T. and Estella Pittman. Growing up in Roseville, Illinois, Chuck was an Eagle Scout and was involved with track and football. After four years service in the US Airforce, in 1955 Chuck met and married the love of his life, Jeannette. During their 57 years together they shared a love for travel and found true friendship with each other. Chuck was Deacon and a faithful servant at First Baptist Church Willis. He is survived by his three children: Chris Pittman and his wife Cathy, Terrie Wollard and her husband Bob, Andy Pittman and his wife Wendy; grandchildren: Christine Veltman, Bobby Wollard, Linda Holmes, Holly and Andy Gray and great children Brooklyn Veltman and Harley Holmes. A visitation service will be held Friday June 7 at Forrest Park The Woodlands from 6-8pm. A home going service will be held Saturday June 8 at First Baptist Church Willis at 10:30am, with a graveside to follow at 1:30pm at Forrest Park The Woodlands. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations to be made to First Baptist Church Willis building fund, 12177 IH 45N, Willis TX 77318.
