In Loving Memory Betty J. Janes May 4, 1936 – July 14, 2024 Betty J. Janes (Willson) (Snell), 88, of Camden, NY; passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2024 at Rome Memorial Extended Care in Rome, NY. She was born on May 4, 1936 in Annsville, NY; daughter of the late William Wallace and Winifred Mae (West) Willson. Betty was most proud of her family and all of their accomplishments. She was very close with all of her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren whom she referred to as her "Littles". She was pre-deceased by her parents; and her husbands, Anthony J. Snell and Warren Janes; sisters, Irene Kroll and Thelma Roscoe; her brother, Charles Willson. Betty is survived by her children, Richard (Margie) Snell and Connie (Bill) Lombardi; grandchildren, Stephen (Christina) Snell, Jennifer (Matt) Tryon, Michael (Julie) Snell and Richard (Jessica) Snell; great-grandchildren, Alexis Davis, Kaitlyn Snell, Allison Snell, Colin Snell, Anthony Snell, Adeleline Snell, Blake Snell, Oliver Tryon and RJ Snell; siblings, Rosie (Paul) Fazekes, Thomas (Judy) Willson, Daisy Campbell, Janet (James) Ingersoll, Margaret (Cliff) Doane and Herbert (Pat) Willson; her special aunt, Clara (David) Loveland and a very special friend and roommate, Mary Felice. Betty was blessed with a wonderful second family including James Janes, Robert (Teddy) Janes, Sandra (Howard) Netzband, Donald (Jo Ann) Janes, Terry (Lisa) Janes, Dean (Penny) Jones and Faith (Mike) Perry; along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be celebrated at 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 18, 2024 from LaRobardiere Funeral Home, 109 Main Street, Camden, NY. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Camden. Relatives and Friends are invited to calling hours from 12 – 2 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home prior to the service.
