Camille Joann Fox

Camille Joann Fox, 83, of Oneida, passed away on Thursday evening, March 7, 2025, at her son's home under the care of Hospice. She was born on February 2, 1942, in Oneida, the daughter of Frederick and Florence (Prosser) Schingler. She was a graduate of Oneida High School. In April of 1960, she was united in marriage to David M. Fox. Camille was employed in the jewelry department of Ames Department Store. Camille was a talented artist who made her own Kentucky Derby hats. She also enjoyed crocheting. She was a Jehovah's Witness Surviving are her two sons, David (Lorie) Fox, of Verona, and Daniel (Mary) Fox, of Rockledge, FL; five grandchildren, Katrina (James) Jones, Jason (Seherzada) Fox, Chad (Heather) Fox, Marisa Fox (Tyler), and Marc (Addie) Mitchell; nine great-grandchildren, Jacob and Caleb Fox, Nicholas, Cole, and Kyleigh Jones, Kellen, Danny and Dreyton Fox, and Camden Mitchell; a sister, Merilyn Notaro, of Canastota; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, David; her parents, Frederick and Florence; her sisters, Evelyn Janes, Esther O'Herien, and Jean Schingler; her nieces, Rhonda Sauls, and Beth O'Herien; and her nephews, Loren and Peter Leggett. A Celebration of Life will be held in the summer. Interment will be made in Glenwood Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
