Elizabeth Ann Fox, age 61, of Utica, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday June 1, 2024, at her home.
She was born in Rome, NY on September 4, 1962, a daughter of the late Russell D. and Ann E. Deighton Warner and was a graduate of NY Mills, High School. On July 4, 1982, she was married to Thomas Fox in Sylvan Beach, NY, a blessed union of nearly 31 years until his passing on April 2, 2013.
Elizabeth was in Nursing and did Volunteer work throughout the area., especially with the Salvation Army which held special meaning to Elizabeth.
Surviving are two daughters Bette and David Lanpher and Mary and Alan Simon; her beloved grandchildren Christopher, Ashley and Robert, and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Tom, parents Russell and Ann Warner and sister Ann Elizabeth Ricca.
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 5-6 pm at The Scala & Roefaro Funeral Home Inc. 1122 Culver Ave. Prayer services will be at the conclusion of visitation at 6:00 pm in the funeral home, with Capt. Kelly Ross, Chaplain, Salvation Army. Private interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Salvation Army or the Steven Swan Humane Society in memory of Elizabeth.
