Eric Church Obituary

Canastota, NY – Eric J. Church, 44, of Canastota, NY passed away unexpectedly, on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at his home. He was born on May 19, 1981, in Canastota, the son of the late Ronald Redmond and Sherry Church. Eric attended Canastota High School. On August 11, 2018, he married the former Carrie L. Davis. The couple shared in a union blessed with more than seven years of marriage. Eric currently held a position with Polsinello Lubricants in Canastota as a Class A, CDL Truck Driver. Eric was a devoted husband and father; his favorite times were spent surrounded by his family and many special friends; he was an avid sports fan and had an infinite love for the New York Giants. He is survived by his wife, Carrie; four sons and a daughter-in-law, Caleb and Mykaylah Church of Hawaii, Benjamin Church, Alexander Church, and William Jackson all of Canastota; a daughter, Kaitlyn Jackson of Canastota; a brother and sister-in-law, Ronald "RJ" and Katherine Redmond of Salt Point, NY; three sisters, Sarah Emanuele of FL, Stacy Marsala of Canastota, and Lyndsie Redmond of New Woodstock. He is also survived by several cousins including his special cousins, Natalie Colvin, and Billy Church; a sister-in-law, Kimberly Davis and many nieces and nephews including, Jeffrey and Kaylie Cox. He was preceded in death by a brother, Bradley Redmond. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 13 at Nichols Pond, Canastota, NY from 2-6pm.
