Frank Mitchell

Frank Mitchell, 90, of Utica, passed away on October 1, 2025, at home. He was born, June 5, 1935, in Cairo, GA, a son of the late Edith Brown and Junior Mitchell. Mr. Mitchell worked for many years with the New York State Canal Corporation, prior to his retirement. Frank shared a loving relationship with Patricia Witherspoon, and then with Luella Harper, who predeceased him in 2023. Frank was a member and Worshipful Master of Adam Lodge #315, International Free and Accepted Modern Masons. In his leisure time he loved fishing, listening to music, and watching karate movies. He was a wealth of knowledge and enjoyed sharing stories about his life. He is survived by a brother Adrian and sister Marsha. He was predeceased by a brother Ronald, and sister Trisha. Frank also leaves many additional family members and dear friends who will cherish his memory.
