Jason Camello Obituary

Jason "Ace" Camello, 41, passed away peacefully at home on March 13, 2024, following a long illness. Born on November 13, 1982, in Utica, Jason was the son of Ruth Koscinski Camello and Joseph Camello. He attended Utica schools. Jason had been a delivery driver for FedEx, in Utica. He was a sports fan, especially enjoying baseball and playing softball in his Muny league. Jason was an avid fan of the LA Rams, the Baltimore Orioles, and the Montreal Canadiens. He also enjoyed time spent 4-wheeling. Jason is survived by his mother and step-father, Ruth Koscinski Camello and John Schimmel; father and step-mother, Joseph and Jackie Camello; daughter, Brooke Camello; siblings, Jennifer Camello and Justin "Deuce" Camello; niece, Taliyah Burnett; aunt, Lucy Parker; uncle, Joseph Koscinski; cousins, Joseph and Bryan Koscinski and Cory Koscinski who was like a brother to him; and close friend, Brian "Beep" Dorsagno. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Joseph and Barbara Koscinski. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated on March 22, 2024, at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph St. Patrick Church. The family will receive guests following the Mass. Inurnment will be in St. Stanislaus & Casimir Cemetery, Whitesboro, in the spring. Arrangements are under the direction of McGrath, Myslinski, Kowalczyk & Nunn Funeral Directors, 470 French Rd., Utica.
