Johnene M. Woodcock

Johnene (Carswell) Woodcock, 80, passed away October 6, 2025, in the comfort of her home in Pine Woods, where she lived in her entire life. She is now dancing with her husband Leo H. Woodcock who predeceased her following 39 years of marriage on September 17, 2002. She was born on August 4, 1945, in Oneida, a daughter of the late John Carswell and Edna (Smith) Chapman. Johnene graduated from Morrisville High School where she played basketball, field hockey and was a cheerleader. She worked in the food service industry for many years both at SUNY Morrisville and at Sautter's Diner as well as providing housekeeping services to some families in Cazenovia. Surviving are her two daughters, Kim Woodcock, and Shari (Woodcock) Blaine and her son-in-law Brian; her grandchildren, Matthew Woodcock (Amanda D'Andrea), Cassie (Joshua) Coulter, Kristen (Dominic) Blaine-Rendinell, Celsey Blaine; great grandchildren, Lucas Coulter, Cecelia D'Andrea, Arya Woodcock; sister Joni Paul (Jim Hynes); a brother John (Gloria) Carswell; niece and nephew, Lori (Randy) Lollman, Gregory Paul as well as several close family friends. She was predeceased by a sister Sharon (Allen) Morton. In keeping with Johnene wishes, services and interment in Eaton Village Cemetery will be private.
