Joyce Carpenter Obituary
She was born on March 6, 1963, in Little Falls, New York and was educated in area schools. Her parents Bernard and Leona (Sonaband) Carpenter preceded her in death, in 2001 and 2006 respectively, as well as her brothers, Larry (1972), Alan (1992) and Jerry (1974). The family lived on a farm in Poland for several years. Joyce will fondly be remembered for her love of watching wrestling and the Buffalo Bills.
She is survived by her children: Dean Holdridge, Jr. (Kathleen Mauldin) and Larry Holdridge (April); two sisters, Gail White (Jeremiah Pettinato) and Lori Ireland (Kevin); nieces, Michelle, Amanda and Ashley; nephew, Alan; and extended family. She also left behind her cousin and best friend, Michael Parisi and her longtime friend, Ron Kelly.
Interment will take place with family present at Mt. View Memorial Gardens, Little Falls, on Friday, September 13, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. There are no calling hours.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Enea & Ciaccia Family Funeral Home, 4309 Acme Road, Ilion, NY, (315) 894-8000.
