Keith Williams Obituary

Keith Alan Williams Sr., 64, of Hoag Road, Rome, died Thursday morning, October 2, 2025, in the Oneida Health Hospital following a long illness. Keith was born on January 1, 1960, in Ilion, the son of Ronald J Williams Sr. and Patricia VanVort Williams. He attended school in the Westmoreland Central Schools. For over 20 years, Keith was employed in maintenance services at the Clarks Beach Hotel in Old Forge. He retired in 2020 and moved to Rome next door to his son. In his younger years, when he was in better health, Keith enjoyed being on the water with a fishing pole in his hand. Surviving besides his mother, Patricia of Dolgeville; are three children, Heath (Heather) Williams of Westmoreland, Keith (Erin) Williams Jr. of Rome and Joshua Williams of Rome; two brothers, Ronald Williams Jr. of Herkimer and Tim Williams of Dolgeville; three sisters, Gloria (Frank) Berresa of Utica, Vicki Williams of TN, and Brenda Guertz of Utica; 5 beloved grandchildren, Dylan, Alexis, Deagan, Kyle and Riley; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Kyle Williams. The family plans to honor the life of Keith with a private service.
